Louise Land Sims

Louise Land Sims, 91, of Dunlap went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at her home. She was a member of Dunlap Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Ralph Sims; parents,  Walter and Lydia Burwick Land; sisters, Willie Mae McDowell and Cora Ewton; and brothers, Woodrow Land and Waldo Land.

Survivors include her sons, Lloyd (Linda) Sims and Randall (Pam) Sims, both of Dunlap; caregiver, Margie Hitchcox; grandchildren, Anita (Doyle) Allen and Joseph (Jackie) Sims; step-granddaughter, Randi (Casey) Strader; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 6 in the funeral home chapel with Joseph Sims, Brandon Gates and Doyle Allen officiating. Burial was in Cordell Cemetery.
