Ratus Clark Mosley, 94, of Red Bank died in a Red Bank hospital on Tuesday, July 30, 2013.
He was born in Sequatchie County on November 15, 1918 and was a member of Signal Mountain church of Christ. He graduated from Sequatchie County High School, Wiley Business College and The University of Chattanooga. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard WWII, a member of the 50 Plus Club, and a former member of the American Legion, National Association Accountants, Lions Club, Downtown Sertoma Club and Big Brothers Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmet and Della Overturf Mosley; brothers, Clyde, Burnice and Albert Mosley; and sister, Cleo Boynton.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Bramlett Mosley of Red Bank; sister, Clara Mae Foley of Dunlap; brother, Gordon Mosley of Signal Mountain; two step-sons, Eddie and Mike Keene, both of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 2 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Greg Nance officiating. Burial will be in Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens.
