Charles Franklin Sander Jr.

Charles Franklin Sanders, Jr. 90, of Dunlap passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013 in an area hospital. He was a member of IBEW Local 175 for 67 years and was a veteran of the United  States Navy, serving in WWI. He enjoyed beekeeping for many years.

His parents, Charles F. Sanders Sr. and Ina Sanders; six sisters and three brothers, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Effie Gene Sanders; sons, Charles E. Sanders and Robert F. (Pam) Sanders; daughters, Mary Sanders and Linda Sanders; sisters, Winnie Mae  Sanders and Sarah (Lamar) Manning; special friends he thought of as family, Henry Westmoreland, Jason Westmoreland and Mark King; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 25 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor  Billy Westmoreland officiating. Burial was in Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
