Flossie Narramore

Flossie B. Narramore, 92, of Dunlap passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2013.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and attended the Glennis Bridges Sunday School Class. She was a seamstress and enjoyed all forms of sewing and needlework.

Her parents, Sam W. and Ethel McDowell; brothers, Otis, Otto, G.A. and Thomas McDowell; and sister, Violet Lively, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Kaye (Ray) Oakes of Dunlap; sister, Claudia Tate of Dunlap; brother, R.J. McDowell  of Eastover, South Carolina; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, June 6 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jeremy Byrd officiating. Burial was in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
