Eloise E. Singleton, 89, of Pikeville died Sunday, May 5, 2013 at her residence. She was born February 3, 1924 to Herbert and Minnie DeBord Evans and was a member of Wheeler Hill Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Leon and Gerald Evans.
Survivors include three sons, Jerry (Janet) Singleton of Greenwood, Mississippi, Randell (Sandra) Singleton and David (Donna) Singleton of Pikeville; six grandchildren, Miranda (Paul) Sherrell of Pikeville, Phil (Jennifer) Singleton of Missouri, Julie (Richard) Harrell of Pikeville, Marcus (Paige) Singleton of Arkansas, Skeet and Samantha Singleton of Pikeville; nine great-grandchildren, Marlie and Lee Sherrell, Dylan, John, Raney, Justin, Sarah and Ava Singleton, and Karla Harrell; sisters, Juanita Ogburn of Frostproof, Florida, Evely McCulley of Soddy Daisy; brothers, Earl Evans of Crossville, Donald Evans of Lakeland, Florida, Milburn Evans of Tiffin, Ohio; aunt, Vera Reagan of Pikeville, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 7 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Wally Kirby officiating. Burial was in Blackburn Cemetery.
