Michael Beasley

Michael Grayson Beasley, 60, of Spencer died Wednesday, February 20, 2013. He was a member of Mooneyham Freewill Baptist Church. He was the current sheriff of Van Buren County and a member of the Sheriff’s Association.

His mother, Nellie Belle Beasley and half-brother, Eddie Hodge, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Beasley; son, Tommy Beasley of McMinnville; daughter, Emmally Beasley of Murfreesboro; step-daughters, Heather Winnett, Jasmine and Camillia Scott; step-son, William Scott, all of Spencer; two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Charlie Winnett; grandson, Gerard Beasley; father, Kender Beasley of Spencer; two sisters, Gloria (Bobby) Scott and Tammy (Griffen) Anderson, both of Spencer; half-brother, Danny Hodge; half-sister, Donna Boles; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 23 at Mooneyham Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Wayne Sullivan and Bro. Jason Graham officiating. Burial was in Myers Cemetery.
