Virgie Sanders

Virgie Sanders, 77, of Dunlap died Saturday morning, February 9, 2013 at her home after her battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Waymond “Winkie” Sanders; two children, Arleen and Josuph; parents, Alvise and Alice Griffith; four sisters, AnaBell, Maudie, Carrie and Mary Ellen Kilgore; and brother, Walt Ray Griffith.

She is survived by seven children, JoAnn, Junior, Wayne, Rickey, Kathy, Lisa and Anglee “Red” Sanders, all of Dunlap; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Billy Joe Griffith of Illinois and Larry Griffith of Dunlap; sister, Pat Layne of Whitwell; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Monday, February 11 at Condra  Cemetery.
