Bobby Jack Johnson, Sr. 75, of the Lusk community in Bledsoe County, died Friday, October 19, 2012 at NHC of Dunlap after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
He was a member of Bethel Church of Christ and was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Virginia Johnson; and parents, Jack and Cleo Johnson.
He is survived by his son, Bobby Jack Johnson Jr. of Pikeville; daughters, Rhonda Johnson (Susan Fuchs) Harrison, Annette (Tommy) Holland and Denise (Don) Wade, all of Pikeville; seven grandchildren, Shea, Trey and Jacob Johnson, Wendy (Steven) Turner, Kelli (Jerod) Billingsley and Katie and Rebecca Holland; four great-grandchildren, Tommy and Brady Turner, Pamela Holland and Katelynn Billingsley; very special aunt, Martha (Billy) Angel; special sisters-in-law, Merle (Freddy) Roberson, Jeanette Oaks and Sue Smith.
Services were held Sunday, October 21 in the funeral home chapel with Minister T.A. Smith officiating. Burial was in Collier Cemetery.
