Pauline McCarver Dennis

Pauline McCarver Dennis, 91, of Dunlap passed away Friday, August 24, 2012 at her home. She was the former owner of Sequatchie Valley Motel and Florist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Edith Boyd McCarver; siblings, Eugene, Frank, David, Levi, Georgia Lee McCarver, Irene Swafford and Erlene Minton Green; and grandson, Shaun Kershaw.

Survivors include her children, Linda Kershaw, Joel (Jeannie) Dennis, Davey (Ginger) Dennis, Deborah (Curtis) Smith and Jeffrey (Yuan) Dennis, all of Dunlap; sister, Alene Seals of Dunlap; half-sisters, Abigail Wilson of Dalton, Georgia and Rachael McDowell of Sevierville; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 26 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Gerald Casson officiating. Burial was in Cagle Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
