Arlise Rayburn Bowman Sr.

Arlise Rayburn Bowman Sr., 58, of Dunlap, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at his residence in Griffin Georgia from a short-term illness.

He was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired sheet rock man.

He was preceeded in death by his father, Quentin C. Bowman; mother, Olean C. Moore; two brothers, Carlos David and Wiley Ray Bowman; and two nieces, Jonel Bowman and Renee Allen. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Bowman; children Sabrina Reeves, Arlise Bowman Jr., Opal and Tony Canup, all of Griffin, Georgia; Rhonda and Billy Jackson of Bornesvlile, Georgia; Andrew and AJ Smith of New York; two brothers, Leon and Monya Bowman, Lee and Lisa Bowman of Dunlap; two sisters, Devota and Ray Long, of Palmer, and Darlene Chadwick of Griffin, Georgia; 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

He was layed to rest on August 10, 2012 at Old Hebron Church Cemetery in Concord, Georgia.
