Alice Swafford

Alice Marie McMillon Swafford, 92, of Dunlap passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Swafford; daughter, Joan S. Johnson; four brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her son, Dion W. (Lavonnia) Swafford; daughters, Johnnie S. (John) Johnson and Becky (Wayne) Lowery of Raleigh, North Carolina; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Swafford’s Chapel in Pikeville with a private family burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Swafford’s Chapel Cemetery Fund.
