Charles Stephens
Charles William “Chuck” “Buddy” Stephens, 65, of Dunlap died Sunday, July 15, 2012.
He was a Christian of the Baptist faith, an Eagle Scout and a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 203. He was former manager and maintenance at Holiday Out RV Park at Lake Tansi and senior elder of Tennessee Metis Aboriginal Tribe.
His father, Floyd and stepmother, Jean Stephens; mother, Jobyna and stepfather, John Marshall preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, June Hamblen Stephens; sons, Charles (Dani) William Stephens Jr. and Gary (Cassie) Hamblen; daughters, Reda (Mark) Yarbrough and Cheryl (Michael) Harmon; granddaughter, Geri Stephens; grandsons, Colby Stephens, Cody Harmon, Kyle Harmon, Ashley Walker, Haley Yarbrough, Skyle Hamblen and Jaycee Hamblen; great-grandson, River Walker; brothers, Johnny (Charlotte) Marshall and Jim (Jennie) Stephens; special cousin, Charlynn Peoples; several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 18 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gary Linebaugh officiating. Burial was in Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors provided by Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 203.
