Rev. Leonard Cagle, 88, of Pikeville died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at a local hospital.
He pastored area Baptist churches for 40 years and was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Pikeville. He was a school bus maintenance supervisor for Bledsoe County for 22 years.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Sallie and Emmitt Cagle, and ten siblings.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Frances Stillwill Cagle; children, Brince Cagle, Phillip (Shelia) Cagle, both of Pikeville, Vivian (Bill) Buford of Tazewell and Edward (Loretta) Cagle of Crossville; ten grandchildren and their spouses; 16 great-grandchildren and special family friend, Jimmy Newby.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 29 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Whitaker and Rev. Darryl Evans officiating. Burial was in Humble Cemetery.
