Linda Helen Norris Ames

Linda Helen Norris Ames, 71, of Dunlap passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at her home. She was of the Methodist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Frank and Crittie Leigh Scott Norris; brothers, James Bernard Norris and J. Harold “Spook” Norris; and sister, Leona Norris Bozell.

She is survived by her husband, Fred C. Ames of Dunlap; son, Tyrone (Audrey) Ames of Soddy Daisy; daughter, Tammy (Troy) Lockhart of Dunlap; sisters, Ruby Nell Norris Milton of San Tonio, Texas and Mary Lou Norris Hickey of Dunlap; brothers, Billy Frank Norris and Robert Arnold Norris, both of Hoopston, Illinois; grandchildren, Josh Ames, Courtney Ames, Samantha Lockhart, Michele Lockhart and Tiffany Hoover; great-grandchildren, Brandon Ames, Cameron Ames and Dylan Griswold.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 5 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Brian Kearns officiating. Burial was in Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens.
