Johnnie Louise Martin

Johnnie Louise Martin, 81, of Signal Mountain left this earth to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven, Thursday night, March 15, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Martin.

She is survived by two sons, David (Ruby) Martin and Ed (Marilyn) Martin; granddaughter, Robin Martin; grandson, Bryan (Tara) Martin; great-grandchildren, Laura Leigh Brooks, Braden Martin, Logan Martin and Addison Rose Martin; sister, Edna Thurman, Glenis Thurman, Billie Roberts, Lecille Thurman of Chattanooga, Mildred Griffith and Wilma Griffith of Signal Mountain; brother, Wendell (Mary Lou) and Carlos Swafford, both of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Sunday, March 18 at Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens with Dr. Steve Grainger officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, in memory of Johnnie Martin.
