Wilma Hixson Lewis

Wilma Hixson Lewis, 91, of Dunlap died Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at her home.

She was a member of Welch Chapel United Methodist Church and Cherokee Chapter O.E.S., a musician and lover of music.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dreafus Lewis; parents, Will and Bertha Hixson; sister, Lucille Barker; and nephew, Howard Barker.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Gladys Lewis; her beloved grandsons, who were the love of her life, Aaron and Benton Lewis, all of Dunlap; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, January 13 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Doug Silvers, Bro. Greg Bartley and Bro. Gary Lange officiating. Burial was in Hixson Cemetery.
