Clyde Newman

Clyde Edward Newman, 86, of Dunlap passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2012. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Newman; parents, Jack and Neppie Skiles Newman; son, Clyde “Johnny” Newman Jr.; brothers, Frank, Tom and Chester Newman, Lee and Ottis Miller; and sister, Gertrude Thompson.

Survivors include his companion, Johnnie Sue Morgan of Dunlap; daughters, Carmen Brough and Josephine (Joe) Hagan, both of Las Vegas, Nevada and Rose (Bob) Loomis of Michigan; brother, Roy (Estle) Newman of Dunlap; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 14, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dan Rains and Bro. Lanny Tate officiating. Burial was held at Cordell Cemetery.
