Jack Wilson
Jack Oliver “Bud” Wilson, 80, of Dunlap died Wednesday evening, October 26, 2011 at his home.
He was a member of New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He helped establish the Sequatchie County Rescue Squad, of which he was a member for 41 years and also helped to build the rescue squad building.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Oliver and Ruth Lillian Johnson; great-granddaughter, Miya Olivia Chatman; sisters, Katherine Wilson and Helen Wilson Lockhart.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley Brown Wilson; daughter, Sharon Ruth Wilson of Chattanooga; son, David (Kathy) Wilson of Stafford, Virginia; granddaughters, Martina (Kimothy) Chatman, Elizabeth V., Amanda, Savannah, Kalli and Karli Wilson; great-grandchildren, Vicki, Jerie, Micah and Emory Wilson and Kymani Chatman; sister, Mable Ruth Talley of Dunlap; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, October 29 in the funeral home chapel. Burial was in Hoodenpyle Cemetery.
