Chester “Chet” Higdon

Chester “Chet” Higdon, 65, of the Daus community, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, surrounded by his loved ones. He operated the salvage yard in Daus for several decades.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Frances Higdon; and brother, Gray, Bob and Tom Higdon.

He is survived by his sister, Betty (Bill) Layne of Dunlap; brothers, Richard Higdon, Herschel (Brenda) Higdon and Larry Higdon, all of Daus; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 22 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Brad Bryan and Rev. Jack Nichols officiating.

Burial was in Bryant Cemetery.
