Bessie Lee Kilgore Wallace

Bessie Lee Kilgore Wallace, 86, died in a Chattanooga hospital on Friday, July 15, 2011.

She was a member of the Chattanooga Seventh-day Adventist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Wallace; son, William Wallace and brother, James Kilgore.

Survivors include her daughter, Martha (Jerry) Hudson of South Pittsburg; four sons, Bobby (Paula) Wallace of Jasper, John (Vicky) Wallace of Oak Ridge, Benny (Connie) Wallace of South Pittsburg and Kenneth (Angela) Wallace of Trenton, Georgia; sisters, Ruth Smith of Ringgold, Sue Harvey of South Pittsburg, Lois Isbell, Nanny Grant and Ruby Pursley, all of Dunlap, and Marie Williams of Knoxville; brother, Joe Kilgore of Cohutta, Georgia; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 18 in the funeral home chapel with Elder Ralph LaFare and Bob Thompson officiating.

Burial was in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
