Frank Bass

William “Frank” Bass, 82, a lifelong resident of Signal Mountain, died at his son’s home on June 14, 2011. He was a retired employee of Signal Mountain Cement Company.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene Bass; parents, Rev. Robert Marshall and Cloe Hall Bass; sister, Timmoth Ellis; and brothers, Ed Bass and Dale Bass.

Survivors include his son, Roger Bass of Signal Mountain; daughters, LaDonna (Bill) Nunn, Mary Ester of Florida and Bridgette Bass of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Ashley (Thomas) Jancowski of Signal Mountain and Derek Nunn of Florida; sisters, Jane (Dot) Scott, Betty (David) Snoody, Martha Reed, Mildred “Boots” (Conrad) Bohan, all of Alabama.

Funeral services were held Thursday, June 16 in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Christy Bonner officiating.

Burial was in Thans Chapel Cemetery.
