Carlos Ray “Booney” Johnson

Carlos Ray “Booney” Johnson, 62, of Dunlap passed away June 18, 2011 in a Nashville hospital. He served in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mager and Bessie Lou Sutherland Johnson; brothers, Lonnie and Edward Johnson; sisters, Ota Kay Harvey and Mary Lou Dykes; and stepson, Donnie Dodd.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Foster Johnson of Dunlap; sons, Lamar Swanger Tracy Austin; brothers, Mager “Goob” (Donna) Johnson, Jerry Lee (Karen) Johnson and Wayne Johnson; grandchildren, Hunter Austin and Kelly Proctor, all of Dunlap; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 22 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Randy Harmon officiating.

Burial was in Sequatchie County Memorial Gardens.
