Versie Whitmire

Versie Katherine Whitmire, 81, of Signal Mountain died Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at her residence. 

She was of the Church of God faith and was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Whitmire.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Whitmire; daughters, Annette (Billy) Woodard, Susie (Taylor) Givens, both of Signal Mountain, Judy (Jimmy) Fry of Ashland City, Paulette (Clarence) Yoder of Dayton and Joanna (Dan) Stonebraker of Chattanooga; sister, Polly Griffin; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, February 10 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Matt Henderson officiating. Burial was in North Fairmont Cemetery.
