TROY ELI FROST, JR

Troy Eli Frost Jr. passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2011.

A lifelong resident of Chattanooga, he was a 62-year member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Holy Counsel #6099. He was employed with Combustion Engineering for 27 years, graduated from Notre Dame High School, Class of 1953, and was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy E. Frost Sr., Elmo P. Smith and stepfather, William Daniel Smith; and a special cousin who was considered a brother, Bob Flowers.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Lenora June (Stiles) Frost; children, Marsha (Bill) Johnson, Paul (Dori) Frost and Lynn (Phillip) Beam of Knoxville, Lisa (Dennis) Stagnaro of Dunlap, and Sherry (Marty) Smith; grandchildren, Michael (Luda) Johnson and Travis Johnson, Daniel Smith, Sarah and Matthew Beam of Knoxville, Madison Stagnaro of Dunlap and Brandon and Brett Frost; great-grandchildren, Christian, Anthony and Mikey Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of Brett Frost, www.cff.org (TN chapter Knoxville office).

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 8 at OLPH Catholic Church with Father Mike Creson officiating.
