Jamie Carolyn Britt

Jamie Carolyn Britt, 69, of Pikeville died Tuesday, February 1, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Lee and Nina Ruth Swafford; granddaughter, Viola Marie Wooten and great-granddaughter, Hanley Peyton Bechard.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Joe Britt; three daughters, Sandra (Dorayn) Madaris of Flintstone, Georgia, Becky Brock and Richard Carroll of Ringgold, Georgia, and Jackie Brock of Pikeville; four sons, Billy Joe (Nancy) Swafford of Flint, Michigan, Bobby Brock of Pikeville, Randy Brock of Ringgold and Ronnie (Kathy) Brock  of Washington; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; five sisters, Janice Frew of Pikeville, Brenda (Albert) Shoulders of Dunlap, Edna (Frank) Cope of Pikeville, Beulah (James) Songer of Dunlap and Diane Haidera of Arizona; three brothers, Perry (Carol) Swafford of Dunlap, Charles Swafford of Indiana and Jessie Swafford of Arizona.

Funeral services were held Thursday, February 3 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mike Standefer, Bro. Elmer Blaylock and Bro. Doyle Ashburn officiating.

Burial was in Bethel Cemetery.
