Wilma Cagle Davis

    Wilma Cagle Davis, 84, of Dunlap went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 while at her home.

    She was a member of the Daus church of Christ and was the youngest child of the late Emmitt and Sallie Cagle.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Davis; sisters, Nola Curtis, Effie Summers Farmer and Maggie Turner; and brothers, Earnest, Vernal, Otto, Herman, Oval and James Cagle.

    She is survived by two daughters, Carol Davis and Marilyn (Shawn) Wyatt, both of Dunlap; son, Grady (Farrell) Davis of Dayton; grandchildren, Jennifer (Todd) Smith, Stephanie (Scotty) Smith, Warren (Tiffany) Graham, Brandy Graham and Hayden Roberts, and Miranda (Evodio) Pavon; step-grandchildren, Cheryl (Jeremy) Farley and Danny Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Jarett, Hunter, Marley, Nicolas and Jonah; brother, Leonard Cagle of Pikeville; several nieces and nephews; and caregiver, Linda Layne.

    Funeral services were held Friday, January 7 in the funeral home chapel with Minister Steve Brown officiating. Burial was in Cagle Cemetery.
