Mable Higgins Sanders

    Mable Marie Higgins Sanders, 81, of Dunlap died Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in a Chattanooga hospital.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, John Meeks; parents, Amos Wiley and Carrie Layne Higgins; daughter, Diana Meeks; son, Steven Meeks; sisters, Pauline Bennett and Hannah Kilgore; and brothers, Leonard and Richard Higgins.

    Survivors include her daughter, Sherriell Darlene (Brent) Sartain of Monteagle; brother, Kelly (Patsy) Higgins of Tatesville; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

    Graveside services were held Saturday, October 30 at Palmer City Cemetery.
