Mary Lee Higdon

    Mary Lee Higdon, 76, of Dunlap passed away early Sunday morning, June 21, 2009 in Memorial Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe D. and Juanita Boston; daughter, Billie Sue Layne; grandson, Richard Aaron Layne; sisters, Billie Lois Boston and Joan Lanier and brother, Danny Ray Boston.
    She is survived by her husband, Sonny Higdon; daughter, Edwina (Joe) Rains; two sons, Pete (Darlene) and Bobby (Tennie) Higdon, all of Dunlap; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Geraldine Morton and Maxine Miller, both of Signal Mountain, Margie Harvey and Linda Sue (Sam) Johnson, both of Dunlap; two brothers, Isaac (Betty) and Ricky Lynn Boston, both of Dunlap; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were held in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Donnie Lawson officiating.
    Burial was in Bryant Cemetery.
