Lee Angel

    Lee Angel, 89, of Rock Island died Sunday, May 10, 2009 after a short illness at his home.
    He was preceded in death by his parents,  Oliver and Anna Belle Angel; two sisters, Ada and Rosie; and two brothers, Clayton and Eugene.
    He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Ruth Cunningham Angel; three daughters, Elizabeth (Elijah) Poore of McMinnville, Rachel (Paul) McCormack of Smithville and Dorthy Ann Sanders of Connecticut; one son, Johnny Lee (Laura) Angel Sr.; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two brothers, George and Dee Angel of Pikeville; and four sisters, Cordie of Chattanooga, Flossie of Brighton, Elsie of Pikeville and Arva Lee of Milton, Florida.
    Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 13 in the funeral home chapel with George Angel officiating.
    Burial was in Blackburn Cemetery.
