Eddie Ann Green

    Eddie Ann (Nanny) Green, 77, of Cartwright went to be with the Lord, Tuesday night, April 28, 2009.
    She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was of the Church of God faith.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Ray L. Green; parents, Charles and Violet Long; great-grandson, Hershel Privett, Jr.; sisters, Pauline Foster, Daisy Murphy and Priscilla Kendrick; half-sister, Laura Kilgore; and brothers, James and Carl Long.
    She is survived by two daughters, Doris (Paul) Knight of Gruetli-Laager and Karen (Lynn) Foust of Dunlap; one son, James “Bucky” (Andrea) Green; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sister, Callie (Norman) Green of Whitwell; brother, Leonard Long of Cartwright; and several nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were held Friday, May 1 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Casey Griffith officiating.
