As part of a two-year undercover operation, five individuals were arrested for several meth charges in Sequatchie, reports Sheriff Ronnie Hitchcock.
Federal warrants were served throughout the area, stemming from the investigation, he said. The first warrant served was at Allen Pritchett’s residence at 95 James Green Road in the Cartwright community.
“After entering, we found several items to manufacture meth,” said Hitchcock.
Pritchett was arrested, along with Troy Layne, 47; Guadalupe Gaitan, 46; and Rickie Gene Cooley, 51. The four were each charged with unlawful drug paraphernalia, intent to manufacture methamphetamines, and manufacturing, delivering, selling and possession of a controlled substance.
“Allen Pritchett will also face several of these charges in state court,” explained Hitchcock. “Plus, he’s going to have to face federal charges, as well.”
Aaron Neal Sullivan, 43, of Spencer was arrested at 112 College Street in Spencer, noted Hitchcock. He was arrested and charged with the manufacturing of meth, unlawful drug paraphernalia and intent to manufacture meth.
All of the arrested individuals were transported to the Sequatchie County Justice Center and booked. Hitchcock noted, Pritchett was taken by a federal agent into custody, along with several others tied to the investigation.
Arrested in Dunlap by use of federal warrants were Timothy Davis and Leslie Apger of 81 Valley View Drive.
Other federal warrants served as part of the operation included warrants for James Green, Bobby Rollins, Eddie Rollins, David Dempsy, Anthony Caldwell, Hunter Andregg, Clarence Green, Haley McGowan, Jessie Johnson, and Jesse Johnson of Whitwell; Jamie Osborne and Lacy James of Jasper; Stephen Baird and Jeanny Runions of Tracy City; Glenn Skiles and Crystal Davis of Soddy Daisy; Donnie Savage, Jr. of Pikeville; Donna Shropshire of Hixson; Henry Lee Green, Jr. and Ralph Layne at the Sequatchie County Jail; Berry Nolan and Ella King at the Grundy County Jail; and Michael Shane Culp at the Marion County Jail.
