Wilson charged with elder abuse

Christie Wilson, 50, of Dunlap, has been charged with elder abuse, Dunlap Police Chief Clint Huth reports. The arrest came after a 74-year-old woman was transported to Erlanger Sequatchie Valley due to alleged abuse. For more, see the March 23, 2017 issue of The Dunlap Tribune.

Any woman in Sequatchie County or nearby surrounding area who is a U.S. citizen and has a high school diploma or equivalent wishing to further her education is eligible to apply.     The 2017 rabies clinic in Sequatchie County will be held Saturday, April 8 at the following locations: Ewtonville Baptist Church from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m.; Sequatchie County High School (new location) from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m.; City Hall (George Wagner building) from 10:45 to 11:15 a.m.; Cagle Community Center from noon until 12:45 p.m.; and Lewis Chapel Community Center from 1:15 to 1:45 p.m. If they are not on time, please wait, they will be there. Tennessee state law requires that all pets be vaccinated against rabies. The cost is $12 per pet (dogs and cats) for a one-year vaccine. This service is provided by Terry M. Noble DVM and the Tennessee Department of Health.3T12-14S12-14

    Cowboy Church at the Tennessee Guest Ranch is held on the second Saturday of each month, through November, beginning at 5:00 p.m. with food, fellowship and fun.
